On offer is a classic Rolex Datejust 16013 Stainless and 18k yellow gold, white applied Buckley dial. The watch crown and tube were upgraded at service to a Rolex Twin Lock solid yellow gold crown (Part number B24-604-8-1-G1) due to the original crown being damaged. The original jubilee shows a very nice finish but does have a fair amount of stretch and would comfortably fit a 8 inch wrist. This 80’s Icon, happens to be my favorite reference of the Datejust model. I wear a Rolex 16013 Black Tapestry dial most days and what I love most about the 16013 is that it is a vintage Datejust with an acrylic crystal, but is very much modern in case and movement. The Datejust is arguably the most versatile watch of all time and this one is very unique considering the dial. There’s not much to say about a Datejust that hasn’t already been said, so I’ll leave you with this; it’s an 80’s Icon that will never go out of style.
